Hello guys and gals, I am new to this forum and am an owner to an 04 3.0i Sport for some time now. Recently I’ve replaced both of my front window for the millionth time
However after this time I’ve run into a problem. When I put the window switches back in the master switch only operates drivers side window, drivers mirror and window locks nothing else. If I go to the passenger side and press that switch the window works only from that side. Rear windows stopped working completely. When I open and close the front doors the car does not even realize that anything happens, no lights, no sound, no “door open” warning. To top it all the front doors do not lock or unlock from the remote buttons and there’s no alarm chirp or any lights. If I put the key in the lock cylinder it also does not open or close all windows when I turn it, so I am in a pickle because I’ve never experienced anything like it. I’ve tried disconnecting the battery from both terminals but nothing the car does not respond. I do not have a single aftermarket thing, system or alarm or anything like that the truck is all stock. My guess is can it be the master switch gone bad ? If so which side since they’re both interchangeble, but then why would they work only for their own side ? Or does the problem lay elsewhere ? I would greatly appreciate any info. Thank you.
