Is yours constantly flicking or only on start up?
As far as I know, pre-lci don't have pwm voltage so should only flicker on start up due to the cold check which can be coded off. Is yours also hyper flashing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Turns have not come in yet.
Not really testing much, as I got other issues going on on the X. However, a quick light test - the red LED bulbs in the tail for sure are brighter ! I did not noticed any flickering. Maybe it's just due to how the iPhone picks up the LED on video - dunno. It was a short video test I did though. When backing up, it showed no flickering on backups, and the reds where flicking until I hit the brakes. Not really conclusive More light testing once the turns come in. |

Canbus bulbs came in. They literally are like the LED A19 bulb equivalents in that they got some serious weight to them for a set of bulbs. I guess there is quite a bit of electronics in it.

Circling back to this thread. Going to have to read it later with some whisky in hand.
Pre E53. Tinkered with the switchback functions of my LED rings The rings itself are fine in native color. When I enable switchback *turns on* with the low beams on, no bueno. Drives the driver/led halo ring bonkers. Both white/amber turn on, flicker constant, etc. However, for the brief few moments in testing with the switchbacks on with Lows Off, boy did it look awesome ! The turns are tapped to the driver of the LED Halo. The Rings itself are independant off 12V Switched Ignition. The rings do not play well with PWM with lows on. Off to do some reading |

I found another thread and read all the replies in there. I think I found my answer. e LED is fine on turn signal wire with low beam off When i turn on low beams, something must be going that is feeding a different PWM on th the turns as the LED fritzes out I'm thinking with lows off, and it's just full on 12V when u engage the turns. With the low beams on, the 12V PWM is cycling on the turn signal wire. Last edited by jsoto; 01-10-2019 at 09:27 PM. |

i think the answer is right in front of me all this time
The same way caps are used to smooth out the V fluctuations in the rear, same caps to be inline between turn/amber trigger on switchback led |

LED Bulbs for tails
Lightwerkz makes them for the tail lights and it's what I used to make them stop flickering in my with aftermarket full led tails.
