Yes, the A hole told me my wiper arm was broken and I needed a new one as well. SMFH.

He definitely botched up the problem more. Prior the passenger arm was struggling to move up the windshield(cripple like maneuver). Since he took it off and just left it in the trunk, I connected it back yesterday and now it just does not move at all.

The bad thing about this shop is it's bustling, he has tons of unsuspecting customer who don't know about forums where you can ask questions when something that is told to you just seems incorrect.

Get them to write up the estimate and list (which side wiper motor) all that needs replacing and file a case for fraud or theft by deception (depending on local laws) PLUS go to the BBB.

Usually the herky jerky motion is from the bolts loose that hold the motor. Secondly, if the motor runs and the wiper is stuck in ice it will break the arm. The arm is a simple stamped metal part. Easy to splint with a piece of angle and a few self tapping screws.

Just to follow-up, the issue was fixed by just tightening the aforementioned bolt. With common sense to when a price just don't sound right, and the great feedback I received here, I was able to circumvent the highway robbery that almost took place. Thank you!

That is awesome! Very glad you got it fixed! And found out the true colors of your Indy... sadly.
