On the X5, I've been lucky regarding aftermarket electronics. The only weird thing, which I have not touched, is what I think is a LoJack transceiver back near the GPS.

Love it. I found out why Whoppers candy comes in a milk carton the day I left a brand new carton on my dashboard.

FYI: quite yummy as a liquid with floating malted milk balls.

After removing the DICE and Valor iPod adapter modules, The voltage only dropped from 12.30.12.29 in a 13 hour period. I'd say these were causing the issue, but I will keep paying close attention to the voltage while the X5 sits in the garage over a longer period of time.

UPDATE:
The battery has still been holding a charge since removing the aftermarket iPod modules.

You can buy an "Amp-Hound" test meter on Amazon or you can get this circuit amp draw meter at Harbor Freight for a lot less.

https://www.harborfreight.com/30-amp...xoCemMQAvD_BwE

Here's a video on how to test the circuit with an Amp Meter.

I've noticed the battery voltage dropping abnormally lately. Walked past the X 8n the garage and noticed the light was on by the shifter which it was not doing before so it is not going to sleep properly. I dont have any radio, navi or amp connected anymore. What else can be keeping it awake?

Do you have a TCU? Bluetooth. They are known to sometimes not go to sleep.
