link to the Bavarian Technic tool at another source, with specs listed
Quote:
https://burgertuning.com/products/ba...18656362266739, while looking to expand my diagnostic tool set (presently INPA on a Windows 11 ARM64 laptop, a Foxwell NT510 Elite, and an Innova 3100i scan tool); then I noticed that the description had two no-go's for my usage. First: it states that X5 2002-2012 models are covered...mines an '01. Second: it states that "The computer that runs Bavarian Technic must meet or exceed the following specifications: Windows XP, Vista, Win7, 8, 8.1, and 10 (32- or 64-bit versions). MacOS not currently supported. 1.8 GHz Pentium-class, dual-core processor or faster (ARM processor such as on Windows Surface using WinRT not supported)"...my laptop uses Win 11 (I could probably still get the Bavarian Technic tool to work on Win 11, as I did with INPA), but not sure if I could make the tool accept my laptop's ARM64 processor. If I had the money to experiment with/throw away on trying the BT tool, it sure looks good to me otherwise. As-is, my next tool purchase will most likely be the Foxwell NT 710 (when and if the NT510 Elite eventually fails). I recently tried ISTA+ on my ARM64 laptop (won't work, too little available RAM...perhaps someone could PM me a download of the smaller-requirement ISTA-D?). Also looking at BMW Scanner 1.4 (PA Soft), which might be cheaper overall, than the Bavarian Technics tool anyway.

That car would make a great project...and it very likely has no rust...unlike mine. The M54 E53 takes a head gasket pretty well IMO...Clearance is so good, it stays on its wheels pretty much the whole time. Somebody should snatch this one up... |

Maybe it's just the pictures but it looks like water stains on the headliner. That's a real fun time.
