For sure it's not squeaky clean under there. You can see some rust in places under the hood, but for about $7k, you could still drive around looking cool for a few years.

So these cars are just cheap because they come from places that salt roads? I mean they have to have some major problem at those prices. Especially for that Imola car.

Not necessarily. Check out BaT and C&B. The market for E53s isn't that high. I think an 8k mile 4.8is went for 40k.

Austin, TX BMW was working fine, ot was for sale for $6500, 133000 miles, just passed emissions etc, but atarted a weired noise between motor and transmision, we thought it was flywheel, so we took transmission out, but it doesnt look like it was transmission. thats the whole story. it parts car now. or makeoffer clean texas title. 5one24597771 lamar and 183 area

Depends. That's pretty low miles for a car that old. If it has lived in TX it's whole life then it won't be a rust bucket. Looks pretty clean. My only concern would be the valve stem seals and the crossover coolant pipe. Those are probably close to going.
