I just looked at the ebay listing about 20 minutes ago and it looks cool. I just tried again (2210 Local, Central time) and it states ebay has removed this item. Anyone know what's the deal? Thanks.

I have a 3-point brace on my Mustang. Tried driving it without the brace and DID NOT NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE.

The X5's body is better built and stiffer as it is. The only seat-of-the-pants difference you may feel would be due to considerable 'lightness' in your wallets.

nice looking engine. v8 turbo? how hard do you push it? some people like to look at their cars and some people like to drive them, really drive them. i fall into the latter category.

No offense, but your word isn't gospel. Fox bodies are notoriously flexible, nevermind with what looks to be at least 450hp.... im guessing she ain't great in the twisties to begin with.

I put strut bars on my M3, that already has about $4000 in upgraded suspension to begin with and I noticed a definitive difference.

I felt a small difference after installing the Dinan strut bar.

Strut bars (especially hinged ones) on an X5 are the very definition of HardParking.......

Well no offense taken... point is that the Mustang is a raw beast of a straight-line car that will induce whiplash if not fear in 'unsuspecting' passengers. Forget about the "ultimate driving experience" stuff... its "sit down, buckle up, hold on and SHUT UP". Its does not shine in the twisties and the strut bar does not improve it at all. It is claimed to reduce/minimize squeeks as the car gets older and that's the only reason I have it there.

In contrast the X5 handles like a dream in the corners, great engineering here from the factory. Its ironic that my "winter" car is the more civilized ride. As good as it is I cannot imagine how a strut bar - which appears to be the result of a sport-compact supplier trying to diversify - can improve it further. "Bang-for-the-buck" wise I'll pass on it.

Now I haven't drive an M-series car, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing.
