F355b dont take it personal.. I cant speak for everyone on this forum but many of us are on the fence when it comes to this strut bar... Only because we havent seen it installed on an X5 and the seller doesn't appear to be customer friendly oriented. unlike the Dinan strut bar which we know will clear the coolant resorvoir...but like the rest of their products are a little overpriced....
if you get a chance to post some pics I' m sure many of the members that were contemplating getting this strut bar will be very appreciative myself included....
As you will learn BMW X5 owners are very polarized..some think that unless its an item that BMW endorses (i.e. Dinan, Michelin tires ETC..) then its crap.. others dont think much of Dinan other than an overpriced items that pray on BMW owners with money who usually will not shop around for bargains

i took a chance on this item because i dont really think a strut brace makes much of a difference to be honest not on a X5 and not if you drive like me 8 miles round trip to work with max speed limit 35mph at one point i was going to buy the dinan CAI but ended up get the one on the group buy and again to be honest apart for looks and a little exra noise it makes not one ounce of difference, the only thing i really like are the fog lamp blubs for the money they are the best mod by far. but anyway the strut brace was $175 free shipping and the seller was very good paid and got it within a week i was very suprised it looks and feel very well made and i couldnt believe it fitted over the washer bottle with a cut out for the washer cap, is it fantastic!! maybe not is it as good as a dinan? i have no idea but for people who want a nice mod for little money i think its well worth it. as i said i will do my best to take a pic but i post from work and i cant always log on.

The seller of the strut bar, attractspeed, is no longer an eBay registered member. What the heck is up with that?

iam sure DLK who started this thread will be happy to know what you think of him.

is there any reason your being such a prick?

if your asking me to post a pic i already said i will try as soon as i can, i cant log on in work to often so i'll try to upload it some time today.

I saw the seller is no longer with ebay, i hope if you like the bar you can still buy one. i'll check to see if i still have his email address.

Awesome! Thanks for the pictures! That really cleared all my questions about it. It had never occured to me that the bar CAN go over the washer reservoir instead of around it. I guessed the Dinan solution always stuck in my head, for some reason, as the "only" solution. Glad someone think "out of the box" on this one. Looking at your pictures, I actually prefer it much more to the Dinan since it seems to be a much more superior design to the Dinan hinged setup. Too bad it is no longer available
