Yes, when I got Nav w/TV installed, they put the TV antenna in there... I thought about that when I was first noticing the rattle. I'm actually not even sure if the noise started right after the install, as I only had the vehicle for about a week prior. The noise really sounds like it's coming from inside the interior, in the proximity of the right rear seat, but I suppose it could be related to their work in the spoiler area...

On mine, it is the rear arm rest that is bangging against the metal shield that it was leaning against when it is folded back into the rear seatback (I don't have the ski passthrough). Maybe that's also your problem. A quick way to test it is to just unfold it out of the seatback and see if the noise is still there. Now, All I need is a way to tighten that mechanism so there's less "play" on it (any suggestions are greatly appreciated). But for the moment, having the armrest unfolded out solved the problem.

Ok then. I had a similar rattle and as it turned out, it was a loose spoiler. From outside the vehicle, reach over the rear window, and using a fist (soft bottom of fist down, tap accross the leading edge of the spoiler. Mine was loose in the middle. I had removed the spoiler myself, and had not tightened the center fastenting screw tightly enough. I had thought the screw was tight, but it was just getting tight because it started to hit the thread lock section of the screw. When I realized the screw was loose, I popped the hatch, tightened the screw fully, and no more rattle. It too sounded like it was coming from the back seat or the spare tire well area. So, check your spoiler. Good luck!

Rattle Located!

Thanks for all the excellent suggestions... (I will definitely keep this thread archived in case another rattle surfaces at some point!)
As it turns out, it occurred to me last night to check the back seat arm rest/ ski sack pass-through. Driving to work this morning, it was rattling a lot, so I reached back with one hand while driving and pulled down the arm rest, the leather cover, and the the plastic latch - and that was the end of the rattle!
Of course when I jumped back to this thread to post the good news, I see the post from dkl 4 days ago suggesting this very possibility!!!
Anyway, thanks again for all the good suggestions - especially dkl.

After further testing, this latch is definitely the culprit. I attacked it with some sticky-backed black felt strategically placed in all the obvious areas that seemed to be loose enough to vibrate and cause a rattle... the result was silence when driving around last night - but the rattle was back this morning!
I pulled down the armrest/ski sack pass-through again, and the rattle once again disappeared. Looks like I need to scrutinize this latch some more to see where else it could be wiggling around... or maybe just get some ear plugs!!
