Remote key questions?

Set the memory last night .
How do I get it to change from driver 1,2,3 using the key remote and not having to push the button each time?
How do I get the doors to lock at 5 mph?
Are these dealer only tricks or can we do them?

Thanks all!

I am not familiar with the rest of the questions, but to program your X5 to auto-lock at 5mph or higher, you need to have that option turned on for the Car Memory. It has to be done by dealer.

I believe key memory is also a dealer-enabled option.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the key will allow you to choose between seat positions 1, 2, or 3. Again, someone chime in if they have better information. The dealer can program your key for one of those settings. The dealer can program your second key for a different position (my wife's key is set to seat position 2). However, I THINK you can override the dealer positions by adjusting the seat before you turn off the truck and take the key out of the ignition. I say this because the thing that drives me up the wall is that my wife still grabs my key and takes off in the X. Ok that bugs me too , but my point is that my key seems to remember the last position the seat was in. So when I finally get the truck back (she knows a good thing when she drives it), I'm in her cramped position 2. When I select 1 and get back out of the truck, my key remembers the correct position. Anyway...

Actually you can program them both but here the deal. After you program the keys the vehicle has to be locked using the remote when you exit the vehicle. Then whoever opens the vehicle next using their key the truck will adjust the seat for that key. We leave the X in the garage and it is never locked. So at home this is a pain so the wife just pushes position #2 when she opens the door.

I like Mercedes remotes better...when u press the "lock" button one time...lights flash 3 times...to tell u its lock. and when u press it again..it repeats. BUT for BMWs..they flash ONCE and thats it..u can press the "lock" button as many times as u want but u wont be able to tell from a far distance if ur car has been locked or not if u missed the initial flash..u still with me???

just my 2 cents.

If a door is still open when you press the lock button, it won't chirp until the door is closed. If it's not that, than
