LOL. That is all you had to say. That is how the X5 ended up in my garage in the first place.

But we all have an opinion, mine is just faster than yours. If my tbss wont do it, i promise you my little 8k mustang will!
I wasn't comparing the power, the high end of luxury from chevrolet sucks arse. The interior of the TB, rather its a regular one or an SS model have a bunch to be desired for......it will start to be a rattle trap in a few years, watch and see for yourself. The leather will soon start to crack and wrinkle like an old lady's arse, it even does it on the suburbans. GM's leather sucks. About the only thing you got worth a flip was the 6 liter in that pkg. Oh, and BTW....... I play with stangs pretty hard also, notice the signature..... Its putting out a bunch more than most LS2 pltforms ever thought about, with or without the juice.

You are absoltely right. Forget the American trucks.....I use to own a 01 Lexus LX470 and leather was soft with numerous cracks.......the leather used in BMW's , Mercedes and other European cars is just simply of a better quality.

Well I guess now is the time for me to show my stripes. I have lurked about this forum for some time now without introducing myself . I am not new to forums just new to the line of thinking that was expressed in a certain comment which I am going to address . But while I am on my soap box , I want to thank each and everyone of u guys that have done the fyi's and how to's ....you have saved my butt on numerous occasions.
Now to the meat .....I think this really represents whats wrong with our country and no im not going to play the polictical card but I could..... read on and see if u can connect the dots (so to speak.)
The qoute " W89coupe, I'm frankly embarrassed by the behavior of some on this forum. I realized many were just joking around (and there were some funnies!) but some of the comments were really out of context, overblown and meant to dig you and that just isn't right.

HMMMMMM ok
1. If you dont like your bimmer in the u.s U have the right to sell it !

2. Freedom of speech allows u to say ur Bimmer is sh%^ Freedom of speech also allows me to flame the he%% out of you if u choose to imply mine is also. (especially just because you are selling yours ...sour grapes)
3. And for the guy who is so apoligetic for some of our behavior "I stand by my earlier comment (which was tongue and cheek not what I really wanted to say) and I still think it is BAD FORM to say ,in exit, the stuff that was said. I really dont care if u dont approve of my behavior but I suspect ur the guy that is compensating for something with YOOOUUUURRR bimmer. Ive got my 2 because I wanted to drive a nice vechicle and i wanted my wife to also . You are probally the guy who trys to defend the guy who just raped a child by trying to convience us "it wasnt his fault" it was "how he was raised" . Im gonna suggest you try decaff ! Seek a physcologist for your compensation issues and go march in the sensitive american parade this weekend.

In closing I would like to say I can take as well as I give... so dont hold back...... please forgive the grammer mistakes and spelling as I was pushed for time ... just flame me for the thought process or message if
you must.
And I am proud to be in such a great forum as this U guys are the best !

There I said it !

Does the tbss actaully handle as well. My friend has one and he even admit the only thing it is good for is in straight line... He said the cornering isnt as great. But they have loads of power.

Just go to a chevy dealer and test drive one and then if you like flame away. I think they look really good on the exterior, where I agree the interior could use some style. The ss has different seats and a few other things. I really like the ls2 platform too btw.

It only has 600 miles on it. I havent really got to try it out yet. It feels like it has a good sporty tight suspension to it though. I never drove my X hard either though. I didnt buy it to race, we just thought it was a nice car with a lot of power. I agree that the leather prob. wont last as long and blah blah blah, but its all in how you treat something. If this thing starts falling apart then it will be gone too. I have a 93 cobra, yes a ford, and the leather in it is still in great shape and its 15 years old. If my X5 didnt spend more time in the shop than it did at home I would still have it.

I dont know how far you are from shady side which is in shelby n.c. but they are having an all mustang day on the 16 of august I believe if you want to come play. I would like to see how bad my little foxbody would put it on that new shelby . BTW, you wouldnt happen to be a member of the svt cobra club would you?

same here on the x5. someone local bought our first one and she had to see it all the time. She pouted until I got her another one. She seems to really like the tbss though. Maybe just cause its new, who knows. I just like the power myself, Im not hard to please. I drive a dodge diesel everyday so anything is nice to me.
