Hey X - quick question of the 2 brackets that hold the triangle, does the rear one wobble at all when you put your hand on it? I wonder if that's normal.

I know it gets mounted in place with a plastic rivet, but the rivet that mine came with seemed a little small for the hole. There was no way of telling that before mounting it and once I mounted it unfortunately it is impossible to remove because of the sheet metal behind the metal panel that it mounts to.

In a word, no. My rear bracket is nice and solid. You got me thinking then as I wondered if one of the rear 'tailgate' rattles which seems to have returned might be coming from there, but no, the bracket is nice n tight and when the Safety Triangle sleeve is fitted it sits very snugly with no wobbling, rattling etc as well.

For those who haven't seen an oem safety triangle here's mine below. As I've posted before touch wood I'll never need it, 'cause if I do it'll mean that I've broken down in the the bloody dark somewhere. Nice to know it's there though.

Dunno, I'll go and have a look for you. Do I take it right when you say the rear one, you mean the one you can't see ??

The one closest to the rear of the car (the one you can see that has the clip).

WOW, your's is red?! Mine's black. BTW, thanks for checking. Yeah, I wish I could pull the rivet out and stick in a thicker one, but it's literally impossible to do at this point.
