6 months ago, we bought a CPO 2006 4.4, sport, nav, ipod, cold weather, sun shields, more with 32,000 for $30,000 and got 0.9% and first 2 payments free.

Bought a California single owner CPO 2006 4.4L loaded (has everything but the heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, comfort seats, and rear seat heaters) for $29k on New Years Eve for $29k, 0.9% financing, with BMW making the first two payments, and service contract up to 100k mi (less tax, title, and registration).

I think Ca cars seem to command a higher price than the rest of the country, but I think given the current economy $27k shouldn't be a problem.

That's a pretty good deal actually! I may see if they are willing to pay my first two payments... But I doubt it.

Based on kbb value the dealer got the car for $22000. Add 3k for cpo! I would not pay more than 25000

I doubt it, just negotiate the price of the vehicle down more. The other thing you could do is have them "throw in" the service plan. Its pretty much all labor on their end, so it doesn't cost them much, if anything at all. I think its around a $1,300 package, so getting that thrown in is another negotiating tactic.

I started working with the dealer on the price when it was 31,981. I wanted him to come to the price that he sold the last X5 at a week before. 27,995. That was the exact same car that they have on the lot now for sale. I've been trying hard to negotiate the price of this vehicle, but the sales guy will not budge. He came back to me this morning with 100.00 off. Making it 29,895. Invoce on this car is 29,500. I think it has till Friday before it's 60days is up. And I assume the price will drop to 27,995. So I'm betting on Friday, Friday that the SAV will be at the price I want. But I'm not 100% sure. My question is, if I offer 29,000 for the vehicle, is that a fair price?
You should not be paying more than $25K for this particular X . Dont let desperation get the better of you. There are definitely better deals out there.

Paid $29600 out the door for an 05 4.4i loaded CPO with extended maintenance plan which I think was retailing for around $2k back in December. Also got .9% financing with two payments free like the others who've posted. List price was $33k at the time without the Maintenance plan...thought I did pretty good.

There are deals out there, be patient and it will pay off.

I guess that all depends on the mileage.

I bought '05 3.0i w/ 60k, CPO thru 11/09, premium, sport, brand new radio/cd player (pixels should work now for another 12 months ), and the ever-coveted slide-out cargo tray for $18k last month.
