I can positively confirm that the aero kit pieces attach to the body via double-sided tape. I've seen the picture of that silver 4.6iS when researching on the look of the aero kit. I hate the mis-match look of the half-ass kit.
crystalwork, there might be an aero kit available in Atlanta, GA. (NO, it's not from mine)

Looking good as always

Is your 4.8 programmed lower than stock or do you just have the ride height on low?

Nice, how's the ride feel on higher speeds and in the city?

Beautiful truck

Are those standard size tires you have on there? The front ones look a little thinner on the sidewall then usual (in a good way)

I would really LOVE to be back in an E53 and I have been searching for 4.6is and 4.8is models.

I seem to be leaning more towards the 4.8 at this point and have already checked out a couple.

I came across one example which had an A/M Stereo and 150K miles. It had a number off issues that made me walk away from it:

Suspension doesn't work. May have been bypassed.
A/M Stereo terribly installed. Also, no OBC functions the display is gone, NAV Computer is gone as well as all factory set up
Heated Seats come on and immediately go off - electrical issue
Some shudder in transmission and occasional slam in low gears
Headlights work, but high beams do not even though flash works

I have come across another one that has 170K miles on it and looks clean - at least from pictures. However, I am concerned about reliability as there is extremely little service history on it and it has gone through 6 owners which sometimes indicate passing on the buck so to speak. The price it attractive at under $7K, but that could just be a money waiting to happen.

Tam - Can you or any other members share your experiences with the 4.8 and potential pit falls?

If you take your time and search nationwide you should be able to find one that is on the lower risk side--under 100,000 miles, significant history and will generate a good PPI.
