Exactly!! if you run at around 50mph, your rear window gets muddy in a matter of seconds... actually, I wish I can add another wipper, not remove the old one... seriousely, even the default wipping interval is not enough, i usually make it faster when driving fast on wet pavement... seems there is no rain where you live

While your X is looking like a mini-van mine is looking clean. (dont take it the wrong way). What is 5mins going to do to get outside your car and clean your back window.

Looking at that picture above,it seems that its yours that looks like a mini builders van with a ll that cra* inside the boot..(no offence intended!)
With the wiper delete, your boot contents are now even more visible

Now,if you said you are going to remove it for the track racing....now that would make a little bit of sense!

I think it's a bit cumbersome to stop your car every 30 seconds, get out under the rain, clean your back window, then drive off again...

well, if your driving constantly, the back window will never see any water on the window in light rainfall conditions due to the aerodynamics, it creates a funnel effect and if you were to put dust back there it would look like a mini hurricane. so just dont stop

maybe not from the actual rain, but water from the ground will spray up and cycle back to hit the rear window.

like driving with no rainfall but hitting a puddle or following a shallow road groove with a few mm's of water at speed. the rear window will mist over real fast.
