Hi all:
I bought my '05 X at Carmax about 7 weeks ago with about 59k on the clock. I paid for an extended warranty thru them, which covers pretty much everything as long as I bring it to them for repair. I had the "self level suspension inactive" problem this week and brought it to Carmax. They needed to take it to the local BMW dealer to have the codes read. Turned out all they had to do was clear the code. When I picked up the X at Carmax they gave me a receipt of the work from the BMW dealer. On that receipt it indicates that the client (me, presumably) is a CPO owner. I was unaware of this fact till now, never given any documentation about it, and I'm not sure if it IS true. I plan to call the dealer tomorrow and check, but I wondered if anyone here knew of a way for me to confirm that I do or don't have CPO? Is there a source I can check with my VIN?

I couldn't find this question answered online, so I apologize if I missed this in another thread. If I've got CPO I can cancel the extended warranty and get my $$ back in my wallet, where it belongs
TIA, Marc
