I looked underneath, I noticed a sleeve over the drain hole? Is this it? Looks the same on the right side... Where are the rears located underneath?

Weasel will become famous soon enough
That sounds like it, and the rears are at the top of the opening of the rear hatch.

i tried taking apart the a pillar to access the drain.didnt make much progess.i noticed that the side closer to the window is held by pressure clips so those came out easy but its the other side thats a problem.is there a screw under the hpf badge of something?is it because part of the pillar lies under the dash

Great, you mentioned that you get a shop air hose and just blow in there? Is that ok to do? what about from the top down?

How do I test the rear drains? 06 pano roof

aimtimes, yes there is a screw under the hps badge. Get under the edge with something and pop the cover off to reveal a torx screw.

dpgx5, maybe pics to confirm what you are looking at in the front? Just to make sure you're at the right spot. (the drains are behind the fender liner, so it has to be taken loose) And yes you can gently and carefully blow in there with shop air, you just don't want to blow the connection apart at the sunroof cassette so be careful. I usually test by slowly pouring some water into the outer channels of the sunroof (glass open obviously) and watch the drains in the corners to see if they are draining properly or backing up.
