I thought you said it didn't work all that well.

What dealer did this to you again?

I'm not sure how a cross between a German and Swede would turn out?

My blade is worn out - so I'll try that first. Cheap test.

It definitely looks better than the one on the E53.

Wow, who would have thought. A Volvo wiper lol! Is it long enough to cover the same amount area as the oe BMW blade? If it works and it's just as effective as the stock blade then I'd do it. Keep us posted on whether it works well or not. Gonna rely on your update before I get a Volvo part and put it on my bimmer

JT///MC - It does appear to have the same coverage, maybe a bit less but nothing that I'd notice. I've had this on my X5 for at least a year and I've been happy with it. All this time I didn't know I was a Volvo wannabe! I just need to replace the wiper blade as it's pretty worn. But otherwise I like it's appearance.

4MoJoe - If you don't mind snapping a pic of a dirty rear windshield (after the wiper has cleaned it) so we can see how much coverage difference there is.

OR

If you don't mind measuring the length of the blade and the arm, we can probably use that as a reference to see how much coverage there is on the X5.

Thanks again for sharing. This is kinda exciting since this wiper arm looks so much better than even what BMW currently is offering.

Also if you don't mind ordering a few thousand of them in advance for us in case we are interested in the mod. Or if you don't mind coming over to either our places of residence or business and installing the wipers for us. And if you don't mind waiting around while we make a decision whether we want to keep the mod or go back to stock.

couldn't resist.

Boy the things I go through! Ok, it's all good! I think it's about 1" from the bottom of the third brake light. This is a crappy picture - but what can you do.

I think I'll edit my avatar and add to my list of Mod's - Volvo XC90 wiper upgrade! HA!

That's worse coverage than the stock wiper.

I didn't measure with a tape measure, I guessed. But I don't think it's bad at all - no complaints here.
