Lose Ride Comfort? On the contrary. I converted our 2004 Imola Red 4.4 out of Air Suspension to the Strutmasters and it has been great. It handles great and the comfort is slightly better than OEM Air. For people who have converted out of that Piece of Cr*p OEM BMW Air Suspension...coding out the SLS error code makes total sense.

By the way......has anyone figured a way to do this yourself with the jumper option? Or do you need the ZCS code? Thanks

I also need an answer as to how to jumper and make the SLS error go away. I've been searching for an hour on this subject. I can't believe nobody knows where to do this.

For $199 you can call Stutmasters and order a tiny little electrical box that plugs in to the rain sensor behind the rearview mirror. Installs in just a few seconds with no tools. Works perfectly. I wish I would have known this before I went to multiple shops trying to find someone with the skill and knowledge to program the message away.

So, what does that thing actually do? Does it ONLY serve as an SLS error canceller and nothing else?

Can you show us a picture of this? There is no way its $199 worth of parts. How does it install?

I called strutmasters a while back & the person I talked to was cluless.

Just spoke to brad at Strutmasters, he said that you pull the cover off the mirror, unplug rain sensor, plug strutmaster module into where rain sensor was plugged in, & then plug the removed rain sensor plug into strutmaster module. He said it interrupts fault signal some how.

The strutmaster module plugs in between what is currently there.

Has anyone tried this? Interrupts all fault signals??? That can't be good?

But what does the leveling function have to do with the rain sensor?
