I will try that after my battery charges up,as it discharged after aux input install

Many thanks..just like you said ,the volume control is in the presets buttons under AUX mode

Yeah that is who I went with. Hopefully it is repairable, I really would rather not buy their remaned one.

And so far their customer service has been really helpful. I ended up sending it in a week after I bought the service and they had no problems with that.

I'm dealing with the same although I'm going through Matt @ Cheap ABS, he matched BBA's price ($110 shipped and returned) and is a bit closer to me in VA. I bought the auction after thanksgiving but won't send it till New Year he told me no problem at all take my time and once he receives it it will be rebuilt in 2 days tops and sent back promptly. Good service and he literally emails me back within the hour.

I got that working for my '08 535i, but for some reason couldn't get it to connect to the X5. I have the older version with a serial connection that seems to work for the X5. Slow as hell though. I need more time to tinker with 5.7 and SSS.
