Yes, never seen em before. Don't like the look... but if they help and your SO drives the X a lot... I could see them easily paying off.

Got my Gummi Pflege and hazard/lock switch today. Something to do next week. Hopefully my Menzerna SF 4000 will be here Monday...

Couple of oil spots on the ground. Dime size, but it now means the weeping has made it past the drip trays. Looking under it I also see a swollen front left inner CV boot. Some grease is spotting out. I'll get it in to my indie to assess. Maybe it'll be something simple. Ahahahaha.

I looked at it. Because I can't do anything else until my ABS module gets back on the 29th

well when back out to try the drivers door it opened put wouldn`t latch, had to direct heat with hair dryer on the latch mechanism, and then I was good to go. I guess in the summer I will have to take the door panel off and lube the metal moving parts on the latch inside the door, probably rusted up a bit.

I've had that happen with the E36 locks and a few times on these when really cold. I have a heat gun if it gets bad or annoying. Just did that on my inlaws E39 528 and it freed up.
