Thanks. They work just fine though right? Any issues for you?

I have only had them for a month, but so far so good. I have been on some pretty obscure roads and they are on the map. Although the POI doesn't have my two local ski resorts, which are pretty big and pretty old. I am not sure if thats a knock off thing or if they are just excluded on BMW's software anyway. My 2014 knock off disc was the same and worked well aside from that. For $15 I am happy.

Installed the Tekonsha Prodigy RF brake controller on the new horse trailer and 'mated' it to its sending unit with my E53 for horse-hauling. $308 via Amazon Prime ....

Decided to put on my summer rim/tires setup that I had plasti-dipped about a week ago.
I can't decide if I like it or not.

Nice. I pick up my Amazon $308 unit tomorrow when I cross the border. How was the 'mating' process?

LVP, see my note on the 'trailer towing' thread on the Prodigy 'mating'. No problems, other than starting with an 'nc' display when actually connected. I didn't need to first do it on a US vehicle, and didn't need to use a 'resistors' adapter even though my trailer had all LCD lights. PM if you have any questions once you get it [not likely, pretty easy ....]

I'm going to give RB's favorite a whirl and pick up Rotella T6 at Walmart en route home tonight for the next oil change. See if it reduces consumption from the 0w40 Mobil1 I usually run.

You can get it from Amazon for 20.00 a gallon as well. No tax or shipping if you spend 35.00 or more. And there is a 5.00 per gallon rebate as well. They can process the rebates online so it makes it really easy.
