Good looking oil report Riggo.

I run the same Mobil [1] 0w-40 at 60% change interval (drain when the 3rd SII light goes out).

I'll send a sample to Blackstone when I hit 200k miles, in about a year.

My tires showed up a day early. That's always a nice surprise.

Can't wait to get them on.

Also I started working on the pass front window regulator today. Even with cutting the cables the window was still stuck up. Something must have happened with the track, although once I got it out I couldn't tell what. And it turns out my motor is dead, probably got burnt out from the stuck track. So I now I am overnighting a new motor from FCP (lifetime warranty). Gotta love when shit breaks.

Not today, but yesterday. Got my X back from having the alternator bracket oil seal changed! Hopefully no more leaks now!

Happened to me once on my old VW. Regulator was replaced a bunch of times and finally it burnt the motor out. I too, love FCP's lifetime warranty and AMAZING customer service.

After seeing another forum member's 4.6is tips, I ran home and polished mine using chrome polish from Mothers and the Griot's best in show wax. It only takes 30/40 mins per side then a quick touch up when you wash.

Clean = happiness

well changed the battery with the eliminator battery in sept and finally got to test it out today in -40c and started the x no problem. with the 3 yr old bmw battery that was in it last year as soon as it got to -20c wouldn`t start the x so I figured i would change the battery out. well I made a good decision woohoo.

Both Flitz and Eagle One never dull will do a great job. Unless what I am working on is really bad I use the never dull because it is wadding and ready to use right out of the can. I have never spent more the 3-5 minutes a side on exhaust tips.

Had it in the shop for timing chain cover gasket (along with engine degrease) and steering shaft joint. I'll need to put a few thousand kilometres on it to see what leaks next . Steering joint nice and tight - no play/knock in steering wheel.
