The Audi guys have had good luck with Karlyn. FCP uses them to make their VAG control arm kits that everyone raves about. I'd try them. Worst case you send them back to FCP and get something else.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. It's still not under 95 so I'll be going to the indy the 10th to have them, the strut tower bearings & alignment done.

So I just bought a newer X5, a 2005. My wife liked driving mine so much she want't her own. I have had it for 2 weeks now and still haven't done anything with it. I have been out of town in Indonesia now for a few weeks while it just sits in the drive. It's a 3.0 basic. When I get back next week I will buy plates and check it out. btw I have been working with a seller on a 2004 ML350, he accepted an offer of $1500. So when I get home, I will be busy. The ML needs allot of work.

changed the rear wiper arm to E70 style arm, fitted flat blades to the front wiper arms, fitted HID lights in dipped beams, fitted led bulb to the angel eye bulbs, fitted aftermarket sub and amp and replaced the current badges all round with carbon / black colour ones.

I've considered doing this for a while but I still catch myself using the rear wiper in heavy rain. It looks great but you guys don't find yourself wanting to use it?

On a separate note I didn't do any actual repairs to my e53 yesterday but I did save it from hail (first time in my life I've experienced that in Boston).

I am with you Feen. I like my rear wiper. Use it as well. Even that one time, I don't have to get out of the car in a snow storm to clear the rear window, it is worth it. It is a feature, and I use it.

Love everything about your X P.H. especially the wheels & running boards. Some day I shall possess them (not yours) :P

I hate when you guys post pics with running boards (I get even more sick when you post a pic of the front bar)
Prop how is/was the trip? I haven't seen any recent updates in the other thread I don't think.
