^That's probably what it is then as the stock cap is 2.0 bar. I'm sure running around in 110+ temps probably is what did it, that system is working hard and the engine is running HOT.

Then again, adding coolant once or twice in the hot season if you have the lower pressure cap is not as cumbersome as having your system self destruct from the high pressures.

Add to that I sat engine and ac on for 20 minutes while my Wife "ran in" to Nordstrom to buy a pair of shoes.

I'm almost positive that all weather mats that BMW sells are MADE by weather tech. Unless thats changes, I'm near certain they were on my e46 and on the X

Mine are a completely different material. Rubber vs plastic but it wouldn't surprise me to find they just run a different compound for BMW client. They are phenomenal mats.

Ordered some new d2s night breakers. Will see if that fixes the Barely noticeable flicker. I'm good with the stock color. Also got some license plate led's and some led side markers to replace the upside down one I got a couple of years ago. Will report.

Finished up fitting a towbar. It's almost ready to hand over to the wife, while I disappear and go ride motorbikes in Laos for a couple of months.

I picked it up a month ago... an August '06 produced 3.0d. I've done the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, PCV valve, pollen filter.... new tyres and the towbar.

I've got new 356mm front disks coming and some iS calipers here to go with them. I've also got the trans fluid and filter here, but I can't see me getting to it before I fly out, Friday week.
