Mounted em... Then found out when the TPMS were removed they weren't re balanced ... Shakey Shakey.

I mean I kinda like it... But if they sell, they sell .
That or throw them in storage forever!

So today I refreshed the entire front suspension of the X5 to include ball joints, thrust arms, lower arms, sway bar links, H&R sport springs, and new sachs front struts. Surprisingly the original struts have are still charged and work well. The strut mounts were cracked and thrust arm bushings. I am glad to change all of these because two of the lower arms and ball joints were cheap in china grade components. yuck!!!!

Someone apparently did! Didn't even stay on craiglist for a day.

Now time to do a full brake job and address valve covers

Already got a full kit from Husker at a crazy good price.

Not surprised here Jay.

I've seen HD/HP Bilsteins with around 200k miles put on a shock dyno and tested, results have shown around 98% performance vs new specs.

The HP Bilsteins were installed OE on all sport pkg and 4.6is/4.8is E53s.

When these HP shocks are purchased aftermarket, they carry a lifetime warranty.

The front struts on my 4.6is were/are BMW delphi sourced front struts. The rear have the black bilsteins. I was surprised at the Delphi front struts but being the X is built in South Carolina they typically build the product from a supplier park which would include the likes of Delphi.
