I replaced my drivers side axle and wheel bearings, and by "I replaced" I mean, I payed someone to do it after spending several hours attempting to do so myself. Third owner of a 2002 4.4 and the previous owners spent a lot of time driving around on salt maintained winter roads. That really made things difficult when trying to unseat very corroded bolts.
I noticed the torn CV boot when replacing pads and rotors. First time driving after getting the x5 back and the brake light warning let me know I should have done the rears while doing the front.

I created new air vents in my wheel well inner fender so my CAI could breathe better inside the Dinan metsl box/shroud.

Hi guys, new here. Today I installed some headrest monitors/DVD players for my sons to enjoy in the rear of my E53 4.8is. I integrated it with the factory rear centre console mounted AV in/out so that I can pass through what is playing on my factory TV tuner, with PiBus PTV DVB mod.

New OEM rotors/pads all around

Thankfully none of the old rotors put up a fight coming off! Just in time for bimmerfest too.

replace the 2 tensioner pullies and 1 idler pully, also replaced the ofhg ,it was hard as a rock and leaking badly. but you can do it without unbolting the power steering pump, i just did. its a pain to do, but not hard just time consuming for a 6.00 part.putting the alt back on I just lubed the bottom of the alt where the bolt goes through and it came off and went on easily .
