Took my X5 to Bay Diagnostic for oil change and spark plugs refreshment. Throw in a set of NGK Iridiums. Made a world of difference.

Sensitive today redliner? Didn't think anyone said anything THAT rude. This is the internet after all, posting online kind of opens up oneself to a certain level of criticism. So long as it's respectful, I don't see the issue... and I'm sure Brabusbenz21 knows those wheels are to his/her specific tastes and going to be in the minority as far as popularity. And if was the potato part that you took issue with, again, I'm sure Brabusbenz knows those pictures are not very good and look like they were taken with a mid 2000's flip phone. It was all in jest.

I still think those exhaust tips are some of the nicest examples I've seen on an e53.

Anytime we say or do anything we risk criticism. The internet is not exclusive. What is different about the internet is we can criticize without risk of repercussion. We can say whatever we want and add a LOL or winking face or some other disclaimer and if someone takes us to task we just say something like--chill!, get up on the wrong side of the bed?, sensitive today? etc. and it is all about the other person over reacting or misunderstanding.

Here's the key part---in all cases the reader has no indication of your intention, there is no body language, no face to face and yellow happy faces don't mean squat. That can be fine if you are responding to a friend that knows us well but most of the time we are not. That's when good judgment should prevail.

Even when you defend yourself you add more criticism.

DISCLAIMER---Why are you jumping on me, I wasn't even referring to you
My bad redliner... ALL of it was in jest. Emoji's aside, nothing was meant to be even considered "jumping" on anyone. As you said without talking face to face much is lost in translation.

I think with internet communication everyone is getting to be very cynical and good 'ol fashioned ribbing can be seen as an attack or passive aggression. I've been judged for things I've done on vehicles, and been told I was wrong about something (lol just yesterday in a thread here by Upallnight actually). I don't take it personally and sometimes forget the individuals of the community here are, in actuality, strangers where nuances of communication can definitely be lost. Sorry again.

Lots of people do. It is actually a very us-centric idea to think advice on health and physical appearance is an insult, disrespectful, or inappropriate.

Yes, I would, and do. Just today I told my sister almost exactly that. And that my Mom's knees would feel a lot better if she lost 30lbs. Criticism is a part of life.
