Place an order for the facelift aero front bumper and fog light covers. They will come all the way from Germany.

Ordered LED halo rings on ebay and a set of Xenarc Nightbreakers from powerbulbs in preparation for upcoming headlight surgery.

Also got new BMW roundel center caps in, new caliper anti-rattle clip (was missing upon purchase of truck), new rear license plate holder (PO stripped out the threads), and a set of OE wheel locks...

Will be a busy week with caliper painting, complete brake service, the above stuff, and figuring out my alignment problem with the rear bumper... again, thanks PO.

Gotcha. Let us know how it goes if you can!

They have the pre-facelift version. It would look like this without the kit.

Notice the corner stick out a little to match with the fender flare piece.

Replaced MAF, after the engine died on the drive home.

SES light did not appear.

Ran the scan code on it right after it died. got the following (pending) codes

P0011 - (shit) bank A timing over advance
P0102 - low MAF reading

Left it for 20 mins on side of road and re started & re scanned.

P0102 - low MAF (pending)

Drove home gently. Ordered and replaced MAF. Cleared codes. P0102 has cleared and hasn't come back. Car is much smoother to drive. Didn't realise it was running rough.

TLR - should I be worried about a once off pending P0011 code?

Our X5 has 225k km on the clock.

Replaced passenger side headlight, which was starting to get a bit hazy. eBay score, brand new Hella xenon for $200. Did the driver side about a year ago.

Upgraded the bulbs to Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited for both beams. I can see again!

This one is a BMW part, made by Hella, not a Depo reproduction. Exact same headlight that it left Spartanburg with.

New brakes and rotors on the rear of the X today. Super easy using the write-up found on this board!
