You certainly can! Just remove the thrust arm and get the bushing pressed out /in. It's a convenience factor for most as some (at least I do) here have a second set to use for a handy replacement with little to no down time.

Good Luck!!

Thanks for the reply just to get this straight in myjack up vehicle, take wheel off, undo bolts get old bushing pressed out and get new one pressed in, re attach thrust arm and tighten to specified torque as car is jacked up or does the car have to go back down to eartha and bolts tightened whilst car is exerting pressure?

I've read the SAV should be on the ground when tightening the bolts to 122 ft lbs.

Tightened mine in the air before and had a rough ride.

Removed splash guard, loosened thrust and control arm bolts , attached tire and lowered. Bounced each side as they say, crawled under and tightened as best I could and it rides much better!

Good Luck!

I have to do this as well as the arm just showed up today. If i'm reading correctly there really is no special procedure for the pass side. Just take the bolt and the BJ nut off and bam its out. Correct?

Yeah, good luck getting it off the ball joint, I had to replace the ball joint also. If you do make sure the ball joint starts in the hole, I had one that was .5mm too big and almost stripped the threads trying to force it in there.

I tightened mine while it was up but I have a sport model and light the tighter suspension. I really haven't noticed it tighter than before though.

I left the arm attached to the ball joint, un screwed the screws holding the ball joint in, and gave the arm hell until it came out, and even that took a few min.
