I don't think anyone here suggested that the lights seemed brighter. In fact, I suggested the opposite:

I think it's awesome that you had time from your video at 4:30 PM (EDT) today to drive 45 mins or so in rush hour traffic to Bloomfield Hills BMW before they closed (at 6:00PM). It's wonderful that you were able to get an appointment and have a dealer tech look at your issue, diagnose your lights as being a problem, and schedule your next appointment at the busiest time of their day. Excellent service! I hope you share with us the full details including the receipts for your service. We will all benefit from your experience! Well done!

good catch, propeller...

i totally forgot about that green light - on mine I swapped the switch for euro switch in hopes to get to the rear fogs sooner or later, and the euro switch did not have the green LED... adaptive function still works, as designed...

unless you are on the warranty (even then), don't be so trusty of your friendly neighborly dealer... they will tell you anything you want to hear, and will charge you...

if they have aligned them just a few days prior, how could they miss the highbeam issue? and if you drove the car before the light alignment, then either you saw your highbeams working fine before, and no so fine after, or it was like "not-good" all along, and you had dealer look into the alignment... which begs the question, how did they miss it not working...

not trying to say you did something wrong but rather very suspicious of your dealer...

I know for fact, that Bloomfield BMW closes at 11pm, on at least 4 days of the week. I also know for a fact, that Bloomfield BMW the SA will look at the lights and send you home. lol.

I personally think that dealer is absolutely the best, even though I need to drive an hour to them.

there are some dealers worldwide that have some special "status" or special "hours"... I forgot the name of the dealer in Moscow, but that bastard was open 24/7 in his service department... I think the BMW of Sterling, in DC area has its service department open 24/7, but i need to check it... I think, those are the larger or older or otherwise privileged dealerships...
