Actually...a 60" TV may be too wide for the e53's interior dimensions...a drop down in size would be required since the widest interior width is approx 59" across the front (which makes it impossible to drive)...and approx 58" across the rear.

False. TV sizes are the diagonal measurement. The width of a standard wide screen 60" TV is about 53".

I can vouch for the TV. My 60" fit just fine in the back of my X5 4.8is. Now, if only the rear seats folded flat...
