Congrats Dan! The GLI looked great too, so I can't wait to see pics of what you come up with on the X.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
The truck is hella clean man, some may not like the debadge but I can see by your old VW that you are into a clean look, I debadged my X and do it to all my cars, looks great and the black grills are subtle!

What are your future mods after the X-pipe and spacers? The staggered 132 OE wheels are very desirable, if you ever get 20s in style 214 or 215 like you mentioned you definitely could sell the 132's to someone on the forums!

I'm not always a fan of the total blacked out look but there are some that are tasteful on here, as you know with your jetta sometimes silver wheels can really make a car "pop" and if you are looking at a style 214 or 215 I would recommend in silver, really showcases the aggressive offset and wide rears (I run staggered 20" style 168)

Good luck with the truck, drive safe, and welcome to the most helpful forum on the planet! (I am a former VWVortex guy, was there for 10 years with my 2 VW's, last one was a 2008 GLI white on black, loaded)

I sold the VW this past year to buy my Triumph motorcycle and have some extra money for my house, and I haven't looked back because I love the X so much!

What's up Dan. It was nice to meet you and your dad at the C&C last week. Nice looking X there buddy. Let the "MOD BUG" madness begin!

Make sure you search on here for proper way to install those DRA Spacers so you don't suffer from what I went through. I believe a member on here suggest you shave off a bit of the original bolts to prevent from bottoming out and touching your rotors.

Those rims you got a nice and clean man. I bet with the spacers they will look even meaner.
