Do you have any idea on price at all. I couldn't see it when I checked out the link.

I didn't know they were developing an Eaton setup, but I don't have an N62 either. That's very similar to the SC on the newer Jaguar, which is almost a twin screw instead of a simple roots. That's going to be a nice setup.

If they're designing that custom intake adapter with integrated intercooler, I imagine that thing will be in the $15k like what Dinan charges for their centrifugal.

In regards to what I've bought, the Eaton M112 (the guts are the same, the case is different based on it being used on many vehicles) came factory on my Harley F150 (my truck is currently sitting well past the 600hp mark), so I know exactly what it's capable of, which is well above what a stock M60/M62/M62TU would ever be able to handle. I'm installing a wideband and going to go through the paces of testing everything out, but my only concern really with this kit I'm getting is tuning and fuel delivery, but I've already got bigger injectors from a VF kit and a line on a guy who'll do tuning so I can delete the FMU/RRFPR setup that's included. I don't fully trust pushing the engine in my X5, but the engine is my 740iL is fully built for boost, I've done a 6spd swap, etc. The seller is sending me provisions so that I can install the SC into either car, mostly the biggest differences is the throttle since one car is drive-by-wire while the other is good ol' fashioned cable. Once I install the SC into the 7, I'll look into getting the SC and intake manifolds ported and a smaller snout pulley...basically all the tricks we do on the Lightning/Harley forums.

I'm actually looking for a guy to do some tuning on my X5. Would you be willing to share this guy's contact information? There's no one in Canada that does it.

I've been talking w/ DUDMD from BF.c since it's his old X5 that I bought. He'd already done some of his own software tuning on it, random euro options (windows up and down via the key, euro hazards, etc) and upgraded the driveline and halfshafts. He's admitted he doesn't know how to do bigger injectors, but we're going to experiment one day using the windeband I'm going to install and then try to do the same thing every other supercharger kit does which simply upgrades the injectors while running a stock MAF and fuel pump.

I've already made the purchase and asked plenty of questions myself, but I'm curious as to what their opinions were.

I asked for the installation instructions, but he said he had an issue where someone had stolen his plans and then copied his system. He only finally sent me the instructions after I negotiated a price and paid for his system. He said it'll take about a month to get made and shipped, so I've got more time to keep doing research. I've got the instruction in my email via a Word document, but like all other conversations with him, it's a very poor German to English translation via Google Translate. Anyone w/ suggestions as to where I can post the instructions and then be able to link onto forums for free for everyones review?

You might want to consider methanol injection system with an adjustable controller so you can set where it starts spraying based on injector pulse width. I have been very pleased with the Snow performance Stage 3 system.

That would not only offset a potential lean condition it would increase the effective octane, cool the charge and supplement the supercharger performance gain.

You'll definitely want the M5 fuel pump

Edit: and you mayyyy want a 4.6is fuel pressure regulator.

Edit2: Don't tune to the ragged edge and use meth as a safety net.
