When it comes to the brand, I found that it did not seem to matter. I originally bought 2 different ones (one was a USA made/USA designed version that is no longer in production, the one I am using is Asian unit) and both worked.

They are all supposed to use the Bluetooth specs and (theoretically) should be interchangeable. Here is an example that I am talking about but know that I have NO AFFILIATION with this unit and it is not the same one that I have as I can't find an auction with one exactly like I have, it is just an example. Bluetooth A2DP Music Receiver 30pin Connector for iPod iPhone Speaker Dock | eBay

What I did find is that in my wife's Nissan Pathfinder, I installed a USA Spec brand PA15-NIS iPod and aux adapter unit and when I connected both of the bluetooth adapters, it would not recognize them. So, I say this because it is possible that you could install a device other than the Dice Mediabridge and it may not recognize the bluetooth adapter. I am not saying that it won't but that I have seen instances with other devices that did not recognize it. That said, the adapter in the Pathfinder doesn't even recognize the 30pin to iPhone 5s audio/lighting adapter either, so it must just be oddly wired internally.

I will attach a pic of my holding the unit after pulling it out from between the console and my seat and then one of how it looks when tucked back in between the console and seat.

I just looked it up and I am almost 100% positive that the Tune 2 Air is just a name branded version of what I am using. Looks like it is nothing different. I just went the route of finding a cheap version on ebay is all.

See my post above. I would assume so, but I did run into a situation with a USA Spec unit where it does not recognize that anything is connected to the 30pin connection even though the bluetooth adapter is connected. Assuming that the same would not happen with a cheap Silverline, you could do exactly as you are describing.

@Terminator would you please forward a link to the bluetooth device you can purchase at Walmart. I have the AUX installed in my 05 4.4i with NAV and DSP is it as simple as connecting the bluetooth unit that would be purchased from walmart to the aux port via aux cable and voila??

iLive iAB13B Wireless Bluetooth Adapter: iPad & eReaders : Walmart.com

this setup is better (in my opinion) as it does not modify the car and makes the sound system available to any BT device, not just the iPhone...

you will need a microUSB power supply, the adapter needs power...

your radio, C43, is capable of an AUX input. it is not prewired, but there is factory harness with the pins and the plugs that need to be inserted into the back of the radio. with specific length of factory harness you are limited to final location of the 3.5mm jack, factory prescribes the glove compartment area. if you need to run it further, you can built your own harness, under $5, or settle for factory harness for $30-70, depending on vendor.

the site sponsor, the ECS, has them...

Can anyone tell me why a silver line dice with a bluetooth transmitter attached wouldn't work?
