Well, you can either look up your own options yourself, or, you can post more information about your ride and we see if we can help you out... So far the only thing that we know about you, is that you are in UK and there is nobody around you that can help out... honestly, you don't need to tell us anything personal about yorself, but if more info about your ride would be beneficial...

welcome to the forum - post some intro info about your ride, post some pics... not in this thread, make up a new one... create signature... We are a friendly bunch

Another option is the Dice mediabridge now sold by Audiovox. The following is an Amazon price: Amazon.com : DICE MBR-1500-BMW MediaBridge with Bluetooth for BMW - Black : Vehicle Audio Car Mounts : Electronics I think it is the best thing short of changing out the Nav screen. The only negative is this option disables the CD player and you have to run wires from the rear to where the media bridge is installed near the radio. The instructions are very helpful with pictures and tech support is available. The following is a youtube video of the install: BMW X5 - Pt 2/4: Soundplicity iPod / iPhone / Android Kit Installation Instructions - YouTube

The following is a link explaining features: DICE Electronics LLC - DRIVE | LIVE | ACCESSORIZE - MediaBridge
They offer a DSP and non-DSP version. I purchased the Sirius radio option rather than using an app. Everything is controlled by existing radio buttons.

Guys,

Will a Dice DUO linked to a 30 pin Bluetooth adapter work? I can't see why it wouldn't?

Cheers
Tim

So I went and pulled this trigger for this bluetooth audio adapter. It was only $10. I've been using it for 1 week now for about 1 hour/day. The rechargeable battery is still good and the on/off switch really helps conserve battery power. I only worry about longevity on it and if it will last forever.

It connects to my phone in seconds once I turn it on. Sound quality is fine too playing from Pandora and 8tracks. Range is fine too as I've walked out of my car with my phone in my pocket without any interruptions.

Best of all, the only wire in the cabin is a short 6" one that goes to the adapter. It sits in the ashtray next to the aux input plug anyway, so if I got creative I could even get the whole thing out of the way.

I'm talking about 8tracks, the music app. There should be no reason why the app doesn't work as it just is a music player through your phone. As long as the bluetooth adapter is A2DP compatible, it will play any type of music from your phone just fine.

And one more benefit that I've found out from using it. When I have a navigation app opened (such as Google Maps), the sound goes through the car speakers also and not through the phone speakers, which would sometimes happen if I had just my aux cable plugged in.
