What is the X5's name?
Xexeilia (a variation on Cecilia). I didn't realize these cars were that rare. Does anyone have production figures or a system to look these kinds of things up? The M roadster guys can figure out exactly how many other roadys are just like theirs. It would be cool to say I own 1 of 998 Black on Black 3.0 5spd Sports. and then other options and years limit it even more. Just as an example.

The seats look great! They're a great upgrade. Adding seat heat was my favorite mod. Now you're ready for polar vortex 2015!

Looking much better with a clean filter, where are the "installed grilles" pics?

Tuck that rubber strip under the headlight support though it's driving me nuts!

I'm doing something a little different with the grills and they need to be clean. Install will need to wait just a bit.

I tightened down the ring clamps which eliminated a whistle during suction which is nice. But I still need to tear down the intake. I plan to clean the MAF, IACV, and examine the DISA this weekend. I have my parts order lined up, oil change, trans, diffs, transfer case, fuel filter, spark plugs, cabin filter. Is there anything I am forgetting? I am unsure of the belts age as well.

FYI-The air filter looks the same as Dinan model. If so, they can be cleaned and re-oiled. I clean mine many times before it doesn't look as good as new though it never looked as bad as the one pictured. If you don't have to oil the filter you have I am interested in the measurements as the filter that came with the Dinan system was oiled to heavily and it ruined my MAF. It hasn't happened since but I am extremely cautious and worry each time I clean and re-oil the filter.

Trans fluid as well like I said (Redline MTL)

I would check the belts and fan clutch as well, I did my tensioners, belts and fan clutch when I bought my X, the fan clutch was actually ready to explode my indy told me.

If you want magnetic drain plugs for your diffs, transfer case, manual trans, or oil pan, I would buy them from www.drainplugmagnets.com.

I plan on putting one on my X at the next oil change as well as my wife's Rav4, and my Triumph Thunderbird is getting one as well.

Filter is an aFe dry model, no oil. honestly I would rather have the stock intake setup but you work with what you got. I would check the aFe site for their filter specs.

Is it possible to take the specs of that filter that you have on the Dinan BC, and compare it to an AFE universal round filter to get one for replacement?

The Pro Dry S on the intake that Bianca and I both have, is a dry filter with no oil. I love it because I don't have to worry about fouling the MAF with oil or too much silicone in the filter anymore.

My X was dead again this morning. it was the same situation as last time. Sat for about 24hrs and it was dead enough to the point of not being able to start. I want to test for parasitic draw. Is this multimeter enough to do that?
