Questions about CIC emulator and coding

Yup tried them both ways, still no luck. Went to check wires in the back and found 2 pairs of the same wires that look like the green and black one. They are connected to nothing. Where do those wires in front go to ?

You need a MOST terminator then for the rear, its basically a loop



Did you unplug something from the rear? There is no way it would be an open loop like that unless something was unplugged or removed

I'm just about ready to give up. So looks like my navigation isn't working and dvd/cd playback also doesn't work. CD stays at 0:00 and then the No Acoustic Tones" issue. It all has to be related. What the hell could it be ?

You are missing TCU (2008). That pink connector is for antenna. Thats what was plugged in there Your MOST loop is open, buy terminator and fix it, and you will be good to go

Thank you, crossing my fingers that this will be the fix. Going to order right now from ECS, in stock and ready to ship. Where is it exactly is it that I need to install at?

It just plugs into the most connection in the trunk to complete the loop. Did you unplug the TCU (or mulf) that is used for bluetooth phone connections, BMW assist and Ipod usb/aux in on a 2008 MY or did the previous owner remove it?

I don't think my X came with that option. I do know it is prewired. Build sheet says this - 640 Car Telephone Preparation Autotelefonvorbereitung

I'm a bit confused. My old radio worked fine, no problems. Has no nav, only option it has is the aux input in the center console. I do have the Hi-Fi sound package, but no fancy features. Is it that this CIC was pulled from car with different options and it's not finding them on my car? I've gotten a huge headache from trying to figure out what the hell am I missing.

So there's 2 fiber optics cables in the back, one that's on the bottom with a pink antenna, that's picture 1. That one was wrapped in this black velcro thing. Second one is inside the panel about a foot inside. Has a white large connector along with a dark pink/violet colored antenna. That one is the second picture. Which one of those do I connect the jumper to ?
