That was one of the many things that got fixed during the DMV inspection.

Never heard of them "Warping" They do however love to spring leaks. Valve Cover, oilpan, axles, Oil Cooler, Oil filter housing and the list goes on.

As anyone heard of this?

OP, Great find!!! I have the 2008 but I got a full bumper to bumper warranty with mine. Not too many issues fortunately. I had a radiator go and a couple of oil leaks, (alternator bracket and valve cover gasket). Other than that she has been solid. I found out how to do a mod on the sunroof to stop the second/rear panel from opening. I was told that they are a trouble spot so I found a Youtube vid on how to make the mod. Worked out perfectly. I was trying to avoid $2000.00+ repair I was quoted. Enjoy your ride. Never heard of the "Buy as is" thing but it could be interesting!!!

Oh, and I would definitely get on Rockauto.com and source your parts. Water pump, altenator and a few other parts to keep in your shed for future needs.
