Another FYI:

Get the polarities on the mics correct...... Or they won't work. and you don't need to connect the shield. The audio quality is awesome!

What pins did you use for the rear camera input on the quad lock?

it should go to the emulator first (if you don't have oem camera) and then to 21, 23, 24 TRSVC.

I do have an OEM camera, and it looks like I need to use Video 2 (pins 27 & 28) based on the way my HU was programmed by Bimmer Reftrofit.

Thanks.

hey guys, Just seriously thinking of doing an NBT EVO 10.25" retrofit to my X5M E70 2010 which has CIC. How is everyone on this thread getting along with their retrofits so far?

I did the NBT retrofit today to my e70 with bimmerretrofit enbt.

All went well except for I have no sound afterward. Mine originally came with TCU + RSE + cd changer and I am trying to find a most terminator to get things up and running again.

Should I code off all RSE, cd changer and TCU by deleting the FA as they are not compatible with NBT

I tried to find the instruction by Germaniks but the website appears to have problem. If anyone could share a copy to my email [email protected], it'll be much appreciated. Thanks. I plan to finish this retrofit within this week

Have you contacted the support team at bimmerretrofit, they are awesome!!
[email protected]

They have stood behind their product and helped me with SO MANY questions, even remote coded the NBT for me, for a function that wasn't working right.
They know these systems very well, and will be able to help you.
