You have to find a US based nbt if you're in US. Otherwise no HDradio and siriusxm.

Thanks. Non US based is perfect for me then.

So, HD Radio and SiriusXM are the ONLY reasons you would want a US system? If I don't care about those two, does it not matter?

Quick question, can you use the external sirius tuner (OEM) with an EU NBT?
I am trying to decide whether to get NBT or CIC, but I want to keep my siriusxm and HD radio. So looking at what would be overall less expensive. I know I can sell my tuner too, but just trying to decide. Thanks |

The most popular ones on ebay are from EU. They have another type of digital radio broadcast. I've had both EU and US versions and found that the HDradio is nice and free.
Sirius is not necessary but I like it. And I dont have an Iphone. so i cant connect with my Galaxy. |

I'm in the same boat and like my Sirius too. I don't have an iPhone either, but the wife does and I'm sure she would like the connectivity. Since no way to connect Sirius, probably going to go with NA version, but now the question is NBT over CIC really worth it?
I'm in process of retrofitting NBT to an E38 and there aren't the coding nightmares to get it to work, like there is with the E70. So instead of having to learn all there is about coding, kind of looking for a kit. I've seen a lot of good CIC kits and talking with some suppliers, there is a lot more to adding an NBT to an E70 vs. a CIC. Watching this retrofit to see which route to go. |
