There are plenty of tunes that can remove the EGR/DPF/SCR. If your concerned about warranty by a second DDE and have it cloned. Then tune 1 and swap back and forth as necessary. IT really only takes about 20 mins to change out a DDE, its pretty simple and requires no special tools.

I'm well outside of warranty and plan on doing all the maintenance myself anyway.
My interest was purely in minimizing downtime vs sending the DDE out to somebody.
