40000 kpa which is 400 bar is normal .
You sure you aren't getting codes? If you're chipped some older chips didn't report error codes properly.
If anything you might have some air still... Especially since you flushed the whole system. It's hard for the injectors to purge air sometimes.

Or what if someone 'returned' a used injector that looked good enough to fool them?

If you got individual injector test data, less likely. But I wouldnt automatically assume *ANY* vendor cannot be scammed.

Guy had a no-start, turns out one injector was dead, took them all down...

Unlikely? Perhaps. Just worth considering.

No chips. It’s my wife stock baby mobile. it’s been cranked a lot. It’s never takin more than a couple of cranks to start after opening the fuel rail.

In the tree the DDE is green. No codes. Any other modules I should be looking at for fault codes?

Isn't there a priming sequence that must be performed after the fuel rail is depressurized and drained? Sometimes the high-pressure fuel pump is not up to the task. It's hard on it anyway.

Yes if one injector is leaking it will cause no start but in this case you're getting pressure, so I'm dumbfounded. Stock tune correct?

Alright sooooo Ive got it narrowed down.....get ready for this crap

the engine is about 3qts low on oil and I think its all in the intercooler????

I decided to take the charge pipe off the intake and viola she started right up. along with white smoke blowing out the charge pipe. how in the hell???

turbo seal failure? but that's a lot of oil

from clearing the cylinder of what I thought was diesel but now im guessing it was oil, I was just taking a jumper wire to the starter solenoid to crank it over. could this method have caused some weird oil pressuring issue im unaware of?

I would guess the turbos pressured with oil but not making boost could leak oil. Without back pressure and intake pressure the seals would have less resistance to flow out.

However, if you keep running low on oil your valve cover gasket could be leaking. In that case boost pressure leaks into the crank case and causes huge issues.
I can't find the video but fixmyvw made one where they capped the turbo intake and pressurized it with a glove over the oil dipstick to show leak of pressure from vcg tip the crank case.

I had zero oil loss/consumption before so not sure whats happening now. If everything is back together This leak to crankcase would cause boost pressure out of the dipstick when running correct?

I found a thread from a 335d having turbo return drain gummed up and mostly clogged. Common at all?

When boost it pressurizes the crank case which can force oil through the turbo bearings.
The video is no longer there I checked my history and fixmyvw YouTube page it's gone?

There's also issues where the turbo oil drain line gets clogged causing a similar issue.
I don't know but keep an eye on your oil level because it was odd to have a full intercooler.

Gotcha. I guess my plan of attack will be to remove the cooler and intake to clean them out.

While the cooler is still off maybe start it to see oil start blowing out the charge pipe?

If so I’ll check the turbo drain and come up with a cap to pressurize the turbo inlet to test the valve cover gasket for that leak into the crankcase? Pressurize to what 10-20psi?
