New Arnott airsprings installed today... worked 4 hours
Hey guys,
So after putting aside the dreaded tail sag on my 3rd row 2011 X5 for a while, I finally got myself 2 Arnott A2642s and had them replaced. Vehicle was ready at 2:30 picked it up at 4... it was fine in the lot. Stopped for for a cigar, continued driving home around 6pm. Everything was okidoki till I backed into my garage and turned the engine off. The compressor kicked in but this time with a hissing sound at the rear right tire. Of course the vehicle slowly lowered and compressor stopped after a minute or so. What you guys think? Air-line came loose? Faulty airspring? Called the shop right away but they were closed. Can it be driven 26 miles back to the shop or tow? I don't believe I was this upset over a vehicle repair... Excuse my rant, feels good to talk about it. Lev
