Well taken care of and she looks great! Really like the wheels. You should consider the amber front reflector delete (replace with dark/smoke grey version)
![]() I am doing differentials and transfer case today on my 4.8 today (30k mile service).

Thanks Entropy! That is the next mod I will do when I install the ATM intercooler (on the wish list). Gotta drop the bumper to delete the amber reflectors right?

Your X5 Looks GREAT!
Always have liked the GunMetal 214s, and they look great with the White! Nope... Get some good primer and a can of paint from here: Touch Up Paint and accessories | AutomotiveTouchup Mask around them and paint them in place, can be done in about an hour. They will disappear. Cheers, John

Looks like fun. And that’s some serious weight savings!
Completed the diffs and T-case today. Gear oil is an awful, awful smell.

Thats a lot of carbon buildup on the swirl flaps for 113k km. Here is what my manifold looked like at 118k km.
https://xoutpost.com/1039112-post5.html Currently I have 206k km on original active and passive tanks. Both NOX sensors were changed

I am on the waiting for list for DWR's TCU tune. Granted his tunes cost a little more but it is worth it. If you read the thread I linked or the posts on the Facebook bmw diesel page, everyone praises his tunes. So much so that xHP is getting jealous and upping the price for the general licence from $119 to $139 and charging DWR an extra $50 bringing the cost of his tune to $175. Shame on xHP for gouging us enthusiasts https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1420149

I am about to embark on a similar journey. Is anyone concerned about the tranny or transfer case’s torque limits? I wonder how much they can handle reliably?
