The oil in the plug wells is a bummer, if true. $$$ to fix. OP, did you do plugs or a shop???
Hey guys, sorry for going ghost for a while but I did change the stock plugs. I replaced them with OEM type Bosch plugs. When I took it to the shop, they replaced a couple plugs with different ones... not sure the brand off the top of my head. The only thing that is stock still are the fuel injectors. I always get 93 octane when I am fueling up, so a previous owner must've gotten bad gas before me. Also, the X5 sat on a lot for a few years before I purchased it about 3 years ago.
