Been a while - refresh my memory banks - you confirmed variable vacuum at the vacuum connection to the LP EGR, correct? Just want to make sure the hoses between the pressure converter under the intake to the LP-EGR actuator are not rotten.

Be sure to note how any EGR linkages are connected in terms of adjusted position before you remove the EGR actuator. Take a bunch of pre-op pictures. My 2 cents.
Not sure if the LP EGR has linkages but keep that in mind. One thing to really be careful of is the vacuum nipple on the LP EGR actuator. The vacuum hose hose will have fused to the nipple and the nipple will be brittle. If it breaks you could fix with some brass rod and JB high temp weld.
