the rear left tail light needing to be replaced every 3 months. They werent frigging kidding when they said "electrical problems' online where they!

I found something mildly annoying but it turns out it's a BMW thing rather than an x5 thing...

The Speedometer being around 8% off.

Repair the hot spot in the socket, don't just replace the bulb. There are published procedures on this site.

So, in washington it has made it down to the high 30s low 40s and now when i turn over the engine all i can hear is the rediculously embarrassing squealing sound which i believe is the belts. it stops squealing after a good 20 min. of driving. so i went out and purchased a belt conditioner turned over the engine this morning and started spraying the belt.. just got louder!!! WTF.

im at witts end with that sound! any tips on what it could be in not the belt?

Firstly get the belt tension checkedI use a bit of armorall plastic protectant spray, not too much

The fact that it autolocks after you get to 5-10mph. I hate, hate the autolock feature and the fact that you have to go to the dealer to get it unprogrammed
