When I open my doors -- If it's raining outside, a lot of water comes pouring down onto my seats because there is no rain guard system on the doors. Very very very annoying.

Anyone come up with a solution for this?

Take the car immediately to the dealer. Tell them you don't understand why rain gets in an open door, ask for an immediate lemon law replacement. Talk about a flawed design, opening a door in the rain and the rain actually gets in the car....

Angry, more so over-run by the "duh" factor.

Looks like he knows exactly why it happens. I experienced this for the first time yesterday, never in any other car before, and I immediately thought about the few times this has been mentioned on these boards. Certainly qualifies for this particular thread. Annoying flaw.

Needless to say rain drops will be hitting the inside of the car when the door is open. However to have a big blob of water drop onto the seat (picture 1/2 cup of water) when you open the door is wrong. If this does not happen to your X, then perhaps I DO have a faulty truck!
