Diesel tax credit is for business or personal use. Individuals can take advantage of it.

Wow, those are the worst swirl marks I've ever seen. They really need to get a new detailer.

Do you happen to have a link to any IRS documentation about it? All I can find is this page, but it only applies to businesses:

2010 Advanced Lean-Burn Vehicles (as of 12-22-09)

Patience. Its not February yet. It will be announced much before Geneva. Geneva is for 5-series and 3-series coupe/cabrio.

Definitely not strong on the patience part, but REALLY hoping you are right about February (preferrably early in the month).

Patience isn't one of my strengths and I'm waiting on this news as well. My dealer told me he was told mid-Feb so I'm thinking it might be the surprise at Chicago that I've read about elsewhere.

In that case, pictures should be released soon given the advance on the E92/93 pics.

If this is true, and it seems so since everyone has been told March/April production start, its strange that its all compacted into such a short time frame. I wonder whether its a marketing decision or a supply issue or just a lot going on at once?

I really appreciate all the info.

I'm really waffling on my X5d purchase. Wavering between sticking with that or upgrading to the X5 M or even getting tempted into a grandpamobile in the LX570 (heresy I know). I really hate it when they update a vehicle I just bought!
If you look at the E90 M3, the M was less affected since it has a different fascia. Maybe the E70 will follow suit?

Dealers...HA! You'll receive much more consistent info on this forum looong before dealers. I'll never forget the look on his face when bringing up the X5M to a director of sales several months before the press release...he had no clue what i was talking about till i logged into this forum to show him pics and videos from Agent Palbay.
